Happy Weekend all! In light of The Great Gatsby film that’s coming out on May 10th, I was rummaging through some old heirlooms and found a leather-bound book that had B.L. Esquandoles stamped on it. Intrigued, I started to read. It turns out that it belonged to my great-great grandpa Benny. So I took the lazy route and just re-wrote a snippet of what he had written for this week’s blog. Greetings Rebels, Imperials, and Droids! I felt compelled to write a post about the intricate, quasi-underground fan holiday that is May the 4th. As some of you know, May 4th is the unofficial celebration of Star Wars fandom world wide. It’s the one day that we fans get to dress up as our favorite Jedi or Sith without the usual embarrassment that comes along with wearing your Darth Maul costume to the grocery store.
