In Memory of Whitney Houston, My Pop Rock Queen
I felt compelled to write a note on the web after hearing that Whitney Houston has left us at age 48. This woman's songs and movies have been with me growing up in my childhood and continued to play through my adulthood. I am deeply saddened to hear that she has passed on. My first memory stemmed from my younger sister's singing career. One of her hit songs at local concerts included Whitney Houston's famous "I will always love you" from the Bodyguard soundtrack.
